Sara is CEO of GreenFig and a constant learner that thrives on big challenges. Her passion is building and leading phenomenal teams that develop innovative solutions having a positive social impact. She’s had the distinct pleasure of spending close to 10 years in higher education; saving students over half a billion dollars, while providing critical services that enabled campuses to improve student persistence and retention rates.
Sara’s philosophy is this – if a team is tenacious in their pursuit of understanding the customer, truly connecting with what matters most to them, what motivates, inspires and drives their decision making and success, you can have a profound impact on their world.
The challenge (fun!) is to tie those deep customer insights to a focused, ambitious team and an analytical framework that connects each individual in the organization to a big, hairy audacious goal. And of course to celebrate success along the way!
Paula, COO and VP of Student Experience of GreenFig, has built her career on helping advance other people in their career paths. Paula has a passion for teaching and developing people. She has run both local and global marketing at companies like Deloitte and Microsoft (BingAds) and for the past few years running operations and merging companies together in a cohesive and relevant way.
Paula leads the Operations and the Student Experience teams – from our platforms that delivers a quality, one of kind learning experience to our student experience from start to finish and continuing in years to come. Paula is dedicated to creating an environment of teaching, learning and spreading the knowledge in a comprehensive, engaging way. One word to sum up Paula is passionate – for life, for learning and for giving.
Cari is co-founder of GreenFig and is a seasoned demand generation expert, recognized thought leader and frequent industry speaker on marketing trends and technology. Cari is passionate about educating the next generation of marketers and holds the position of General Manager for Digital Marketing Science, where she led the development and delivery of GreenFig learning program, helping graduates find the jobs of their dreams. She is also a frequent guest digital marketing instructor at George Fox University.
Cari leads the Digital Marketing Science program development and delivery – from curriculum creation, to instructor and student recruiting and learning platform development and delivery. With a solid understanding of leading marketing technology solutions, Cari’s strengths include Account Based Marketing, nurture and process strategy, demand generation planning, and analytics. She also founded and sold BlueBird Strategies a nation-wide marketing services agency.
Bruce, co-founder and Chairman of the Board at GreenFig, is also a founding partner at Wildcat Venture Partners where he focuses on investments in the enterprise software market. He is a former board member of Marketo which held an IPO in 2013 and was acquired by Vista Equity Partners in 2016 for $1.8B.Bruce currently serves on the boards of Amplero, GreenFig, Splice Machine and a company still in stealth mode. Bruce also has investments in C3IoT, Doximity, Engagio, Opal Labs, and Vlocity.
Prior to entering venture capital in 2006, Bruce held senior executive roles in engineering, product management and product marketing with companies such as Apple, AT&T, Oracle and Siebel Systems. Bruce’s last operational role was as a member of the founding executive team of Siebel Systems where he served as SVP & GM, Marketing and SVP & GM, Products. He is credited by Forbes and IDC with creating the most effective B2B alliance program in the software industry.
John Goodwin, CEO at EduStrategy Group
John is a global professional with 20+ years of experience of transformational leadership across several industry verticals providing award winning sales and operations management, organizational development and business process expertise to companies and organizations such as Global Vacation Group, SABRE, Travelocity, Starbucks, DirecTV, ESM/Xerox, Arizona State University, Ocean County College, Rutgers University, University of Akron, California State University System, Kings College, University of Sydney and Pearson. He has witnessed start-ups, success, failures along with the high and lows of business. John received his Bachelor degree from Texas Christian University and his Master’s in Organizational Development/Leadership from Colorado State University System. John and his wife Tracy have 2 adult daughters and enjoy traveling and raising Cavalier King Charles Spaniels.
Tom Mohr, Founder and CEO, CEO Quest
Tom has a diverse background, both as a serial entrepreneur and a Fortune 500 executive. He co-founded and built Digital Air Strike from white board concept to $20M revenue and cash flow positive. He led $200M Knight Ridder Digital, a Fortune 500 subsidiary, almost doubling revenue during his tenure there. He has run a $300M P&L, has raised lots of VC money, bought and sold companies and participated on boards (including CareerBuilder, Cars.com, Apartments.com and ShopLocal).
Tom started CEO Quest to help tech CEOs build highly successful companies. Expert managing directors leverage CEO Quest’s company-building research and diagnostic tools to deliver tech CEOs expert advisory support in the scaling of their companies. The company’s unique “Share / Coach / Do” engagement method helps CEOs make sharper decisions, resulting in accelerating growth.
Sue Redman, CPA and Executive Professor, Texas A&M University
Sue has a passion for lifelong learning and for the past 10 years has been involved in the education sector – as the CFO of Texas A&M University, on the board and chair of the audit committee of Apollo Education Group and currently serving as an executive professor at Texas A&M University. Sue has more than 25 years of experience in the areas of accounting, corporate finance, enterprise risk management and strategy.
Prior to her education sector experience, Sue served as Lead Engagement Partner at PwC for a number of key multinational and national clients. Sue performed annual audits and quarterly reviews, provided M&A services and advised and assisted her clients in SEC filings and public offerings. Sue has held the positions of Chief Financial Officer, Audit Partner, Corporate Board Member/Audit Committee Chair and Executive Professor. Sue is a CPA and a Sarbanes-Oxley financial expert and author of numerous audit committee and governance articles.
Claudia Reuter, Senior Vice President of Digital Services and Labs, Houghton Mifflin Harcourt
Claudia brings a unique set of experiences to her role as advisory board member of Greenfig. She was co-founder, CEO and chairman of the board of a SaaS software company which she led through two rounds of venture funding and an acquisition. She is currently Senior Vice President of Digital Services and Labs for Houghton Mifflin Harcourt, and an active speaker in the Boston tech community, having spoken at Harvard, MIT, Boston University and Corporate innovation summits.
A recognized thought leader in both education technology, corporate innovation and digital transformation, her work earned her recognition as a 2016 Women to Watch in Science and Technology from the Boston Business Journal, and as a Changemaker from HUBWeek, a program founded by Harvard, MIT, Mass General and the BostonGlobe. A dedicated life-long learner, she enjoys applying her broad range of skills in art, design, application development and infrastructure design to projects. She is also a thoughtful strategist, and has been involved in corporate strategy, and process review.
Arra G. Yerganian, Marketing and Sales Leader
Arra is an award-winning marketing & sales leader and has served as Chief Marketing Officer / Chief Experience Officer for leading companies like Sutter Health, One Medical Group, and the University of Phoenix. He contributes regularly to publications like Ad Age, Forbes, and numerous marketing journals. He is obsessed with removing friction from the customer and consumer journeys. He currently advises and/or is on the board of directors for several category leading organizations (e.g. YouCaring Inc., Ground Truth Inc., AltSchool Edu., Rocketship Schools, Doximity Health, Abaka Health, Optima HSC).
Mr. Yerganian is strongly committed to helping develop talented sales and marketing leaders throughout a variety of industries, from education to healthcare, including compassionate crowdfunding, and fintech. A hallmark of his success is his ability to thoughtfully understand business challenges and develop a comprehensive strategy for product and service differentiation which results in driving accretive top and bottom line growth. Providing innovative, market-driven, and value-added solutions has been his focus for the past 25+ years.
A graduate of Boston University and Harvard Business School’s acclaimed Executive Education Strategic Marketing Management program. Mr. Yerganian was recently honored at Lincoln Center, NYC with the CMO Officers Award. Presented by the International CMO Club, this award recognizes top senior marketing executives who demonstrate the ability to develop and enhance corporate branding beyond the marketing department, leading growth across functional areas.
